Linda is a Registered Dietitian, Licensed Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist with more than 20 years experience in the field of nutrition. During her years of practice, she has provided Medical Nutrition Therapy counseling to people in varying settings, using nutrition education to help improve their health.
Linda specializes in healthy weight loss and Diabetes. Through her extensive work at Newton-Wellesley Hospital’s Center for Weight Loss Surgery for 22 years, she developed an expertise in nutrition counseling for the overweight, obese and morbidly obese populations. This includes advanced experience in nutrition for Bariatric Surgery. She is skilled in effectively communicating nutrition information to clients in a way that is easy for them to understand and apply to their daily lives.
Linda also specializes in digestive and gastrointestinal health. She is trained in nutrition therapy for IBS and has completed FODMAP training with Monash University. She helps clients learn the right diet changes to make in order to find relief from symptoms of gut health issues.
As a busy working mom, Linda knows firsthand the challenges of fitting healthy eating into a hectic schedule. She uses this real-world experience, together with her in-depth knowledge of nutrition, to help adults and families alike incorporate healthy dietary habits into their daily lives.
She holds a Masters degree in Clinical Dietetics from Boston University and further specialized by becoming credentialed as a Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist.
Linda is licensed in the state of Massachusetts to provide nutrition counseling. She services clients in Boston’s north shore area in her Danvers office and provides telehealth appointments as well.
